Hello, and welcome to our new newsletter. Our new website is now up and running and for those who have already checked it out your feedback would be appreciated, for those who are yet to look at the new site at www.buffaloturf.com.au please do so when you have a chance.

What a year it has been, we started the year being chosen from a group of 40 growers to supply turf for Randwick Race course for World Youth Day. This was a great privilege along with quite a challenge with only a 14 day period to guarantee harvest of turf under any weather conditions for installation for racing day, plus quality assurance.

On the farm we are once again expanding with the recent purchase of a 60 acre property which is currently being established to guarantee customers the availability of quality turf all year round. With people always looking for quality hard wearing grasses we are also planting a number of PBR grasses including the Kings Pride and Sapphire Buffalo along with a new range of couch varieties including Conquest and Grand Prix which are great for golf courses and sporting complexes.

To our existing customer we thank you for your continued support especially through the recent tough times with water restrictions and the financial crisis. We pride ourselves in providing a high quality lawn at a competitive price. With the current global financial crisis we understand people are always looking for competitive prices and superb quality which is what we aim to achieve.

Although things are always a little quieter at this time of the year we know our peak season is just around the corner and are using this slack time to ensure all the maintenance on our farm machinery and road vehicles in addition to the setup of our new property.

On another note we will be having a display at the ABC Gardening Australia, Sydney Expo at The Dome, Sydney Olympic Park Homebush from Friday 28th August to Sunday 30th August 2009. At the expo you can see a range of our turf varieties and meet our team.
